The CSWD and Ugnay ng Kababaihan recently hosted event titled “Strike sa Kabuhayan: Sustainable Livelihood Program” at the Revilla Hall on September 20, 2024. The program aimed to equip participants with valuable knowledge and skills to establish and sustain successful businesses.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed VIPs, including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Mr. Carlos Cataga, the SLP unit head, and guest speakers Ms. Catherine Uy, Ms. Genesis Austria, and Ms. Grace Abilay. The event saw a strong turnout of Ugnay members and representatives from various Civil Society Organizations.
The purpose of the program was to empower participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the world of entrepreneurship. The program delved into the intricacies of business management, covering essential aspects such as developing a viable business plan, understanding market dynamics and customer needs, effective marketing and promotion strategies, financial management and resource allocation, and building sustainable business practices.
The program featured interactive workshops, expert panel discussions, and practical demonstrations, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the key elements of successful entrepreneurship. The event also served as a platform for networking and collaboration among participants, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
