PhilHealth Regional Office IV-A held a press conference today September 20, 2024 at the Strike Multi-Purpose Hall to inform the public about new benefits available through the program, including the PhilHealth Konsulta Package, and to raise awareness about health insurance fraud.
The event was organized by PhilHealth and attended by key figures including Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Mr. Edwin M. Orina, MD – Acting Regional Vice President, Mr. Arturo C. Ardiente – Field Operations Division Chief, Ms. Maria Theresa G. Liwanag, MD OIC Health Care Delivery Management Division, Mr. Benjamin A. Rodil Jr.- Head Local Health Insurance Office Trece Martirez City, and Ms. Darlene Albano -Social Insurance Officer II, LHIO Dasmarinas City. The conference also saw participation from PhilHealth staff and various media outlets.
The main purpose of the press conference was to disseminate information about the new PhilHealth Konsulta Package, which provides access to essential healthcare services like consultations, health screenings, laboratory tests, and medications. The event also aimed to educate the public about the dangers of health insurance fraud and how to identify and report suspicious activities.
