The streets of Bacoor were filled with vibrant colors and a spirit of unity today as the city celebrated the 8th Grand San Miguel Arcangel Procession.
Organized by the Bacoor Culture, History, Arts and Tourism Office led by Mr. Edwin Guinto, the procession saw the participation of three churches: St. Michael the Archangel Parish , (Iglesia Catolica Apostolica Romana), Iglesia Filifina Independiente Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, and the International Conference of Philippine Independent Churches of Jesus Christ (ICPICCJC)
The procession, held on September 14, 2024, was part of the celebration of Tatay Ige’s Feast Day in September. It was a testament to the growing unity and devotion to the beloved patron saint of Bacoor.
The procession was led by the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) with the theme “San Miguel Arcangel: Gabay at Tagumpay ng Nagkakaisang Simbahan.” The procession, which began in 2016, is a testament to the growing unity and devotion to the beloved patron saint of Bacoor.
The event was graced by the presence of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Congwoman Lani Mercado Revilla, and Cong. Bryan Revilla of the Aginat Partylist.
The procession, which started at the Evangelista Road, was also accompanied by 10 Bacoor Community Marching Bands and the enthusiastic participation of the people of Bacoor.
