The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, and St. Dominic College of Asia – School of Accountancy, Science and Education (SDCA-SASE) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last September 10, 2024, at the Revilla Hall. This partnership aims to strengthen youth engagement and development in the City.
The MOA was signed by Mayor Revilla, Councilor Alde Pagulauyan, SK President Palm Angel Buncio, Ms. Angie Cariaso (LYDO Head), Dr. Philip Cordova Cuizon (SASE Dean and Psychology Chair), Dr. Wendell L. Galapate (Director, Research, Innovation, Development and Enterprise and Community Extension Service Office).
The event was attended by the representative from SK Federation, Department and Unit Head of City Government of Bacoor, students, and delegates from St. Dominic College of Asia.
The MOA focuses on integrating community services and defining responsibilities and mandates to bring together “Kabataang Bacooreños” (Bacoor Youth) and key stakeholders in a proactive and purposeful setting. The agreement hopes to foster more effective and engaging youth participation, as well as the embodiment of the principles of service, balance, and resilience among young people and leaders.
This partnership signifies a commitment to empowering the youth of Bacoor and promoting their active involvement in community development. The collaboration is expected to lead to various initiatives and programs that will benefit the city’s young generation.
