The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) convened the 3rd Quarterly City Advisory Council (CAC) Meeting today, August 19, 2024, at the Strike Multi-Purpose Hall. The meeting was led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, City Councilor Rey Palabrica, and LnB Vice President Randy Francisco, bringing together representatives from various City Departments and Organizations.
Participants included representatives from the City Budget Office, City Nutrition, Engineering Office, City Assessors Office, City Accounting Office, LCR, City Legal Office, PESO, CICRD, Office of the Population Development, Livelihood, DepEd, City Administrator’s Office, HRDMD, Mayor’s Office, and Pantawid DSWD Region 4-A.
The meeting focused on providing updates on the Sustainable Livelihood Program and the 4Ps Program implementation. Discussions centered around the progress of graduating and exited households, convergence initiatives and accomplishments, concerns and challenges faced, and upcoming activities.
The CAC also announced several upcoming activities scheduled from August to November, including the Search for Exemplary Child, Best Camp, Partnership Summit, Parent Leaders Congress, City Action Plan Review and Enhancement, CAC Meetings, and the Pugay Tagumpay Activity.
This quarterly meeting serves as a crucial platform for collaboration and coordination among stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of social welfare programs in the city.
