In preparation for potential flooding scenarios, a 3rd Flood Simulation Exercise is set to take place on August 17, 2024, as a dry run, and the main event will be on August 25, 2024. The exercise will run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.
The simulation will follow the following routes:
1. Starting from Sto. Niño Compound, the route will pass through NIOG Rd, moving towards NEW NIOG VILLAGE (LOTE), then turning right to DE CASTRO crossing BACOOR BLVD. From there, it will turn right to MOLINO Rd, continuing until it reaches the access point leading to ROMANO Chapel.
2. Beginning at LA VIVIENDA, the route will proceed via NIOG Rd, turning right to Sticker World, then right to BACOOR BLVD. It will then turn left to NOMO, followed by a left turn to MOLINO Rd, ultimately reaching the access point for ROMANO Chapel.
3. Start from TORRES COMPOUND, the journey will progress along MOLINO Rd heading south, passing through SAMPAGUITA, DOÑA ALICIA, and DE CASTRO, until reaching the access point for ROMANO Chapel.
Motorists and residents are advised to take note of these routes and exercise caution during the simulation exercise to ensure the safety and efficiency of the event.
