Bacoor City, July 29, 2024 – Mayor Strike B. Revilla, along with E-Governance and Management Information System Head Mr. Lodgene Asuncion, met with representatives from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) yesterday to discuss collaborative efforts for digital transformation in the city. The DICT delegation was led by Regional Director Mr. Felix S. Tabanao Jr., and included project managers Mr. Vladimir Cuya (Free Wi-Fi) and Mr. Marlon Biagtan (National Broadband Program).
Key initiatives discussed include the establishment of a DICT Digital Transformation Center, the implementation of a free Wi-Fi project, and hosting the Regional ICT Summit and Digital Innovation for Women Advancement (DIWA) events in August.
This partnership signifies a commitment to harnessing technology for the betterment of the community, fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for Bacooreños.
