A significant step towards community welfare unfolded yesterday, July 17, 2024, as the City Agriculture and City Livelihood departments of Bacoor organized a courtesy visit at the office of Mayor Strike B. Revilla. The focal point of discussion was the introduction of the Pay 29 Program, aimed at enhancing accessibility to affordable rice for vulnerable sectors within the community.
Representatives from the Department of Agriculture elaborated on the details of the Pay 29 Program, which offers eligible beneficiaries such as Senior Citizens, PWDs, Solo Parents, and 4Ps beneficiaries the opportunity to purchase rice at only 29 pesos per kilo, with a maximum allocation of 5 kilos per person upon presentation of valid IDs.
This joint initiative between the Department of Agriculture and the City Government of Bacoor aims to alleviate the economic burden on vulnerable sectors by ensuring affordable access to a staple food item. For further information about the Pay 29 Program and its rollout in Bacoor City, residents are encouraged to stay updated through official announcements from the City Government of Bacoor Facebook Page and relevant departments.
