The Learning Resource Expo is an innovative approach that demonstrates educators’ commitment to providing an inclusive and empowering learning environment for all students to showcase their groundbreaking initiatives, products, and services in the fields of public education including Alternative Learning System (ALS) Special Needs Education (SNEd), and Science and Technical-Vocational Livelihood (TVL).
It aims to collect a rich array of innovative educational learners’ and teachers’ materials for use in all classrooms like modules, self-learning kits, assessment materials, activity sheets and other nonprint learners’ materials in all key stages. It also highlights the importance of inclusive and diverse learning opportunities for all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.
Along with, is the Department of Education’s Catch-Up Fridays – a learning mechanism intended to strengthen the foundational, social, and other relevant skills necessary to actualize the intent of the basic education curriculum. In support, the Learning Resource Expo provides a platform for supplementary reading materials to help every learner read or develop their love for reading.
