Bacoor City – The City of Bacoor recently celebrated the accomplishments of the participants in the Sing Bacoor Rise as 1 Choir Training Workshop. The event, organized by Doc. Cristina Alberto, founder of the Hope In Me Club, which aism to enhance the skills and knowledge of music teachers of public and private schools in Bacoor.
The awarding ceremony was graced by the presence of Doc. Cristina Alberto, Vell Litan, Arjay Viray, and Dr. Editha Gregorio, the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) Chief. The participants included the Bacoor Hope Children’s Chorus, 40 Bacoor Hope Scholar Club members (High School and College), and 93 music teachers from various public and private schools in Bacoor.
The event will serve as a recognition and celebration of the participants’ achievements during the three-day choir training workshop. The workshop not only provided valuable training and development for the music teachers, but also fostered camaraderie among the participants. The skills acquired during the workshop will be applied in their preparations for an upcoming competition in December 2024.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed his appreciation for the participants’ dedication to music education in Bacoor. He emphasized the significance of music in the holistic development of students and commended the efforts of the music teachers in nurturing their talents.
