The City Government of Bacoor, in collaboration with the City Social Welfare Development (CSWD) and Child Development Centers (CDC), organized a momentous Moving Up Ceremony for the students of Bacoor CDC. The event aimed to celebrate the achievements of 495 students and highlight the city’s commitment to providing quality education for the youth.
The ceremony was graced by notable individuals, including representatives from the City Government and CSWD. Although unable to attend in person, Mayor Strike B. Revilla sent his regards through Ms. Khei Javier Sanchez, head of the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO). Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola and Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla also shared their congratulatory messages through video recordings. Ms. Chrisphina M. Castillo, Social Welfare Office IV of CSWD, and Mr. Geraldo A. Reyes, ACDEC Federation President – Bacoor, were present to witness the event.
The Moving Up Ceremony included students from various CDCs in Bacoor, including Molino 2 Main CDC, Villa Esperanza CDC, Our Place CDC, Balangay CDC, Greenstone CDC, and Strike CDC. A total of 495 students proudly received their certificates, symbolizing their successful completion of the school year 2023-2024.
The event took place at the Strike Gymnasium on May 16, 2024, marking the third batch of students to participate in the Moving Up Ceremony.
