Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla led the groundbreaking ceremonies of Ciudad Malasakit, a housing facility utilizing the city government’s disaster funds which will serve as transition homes for families displaced by calamities. Comprising of 120 to 150 two-storey units of temporary shelter, it will rise in Barangay Salinas 1. Also present during the ceremonies were Atty. Bernadette Carrasco of the Housing Urban Development and Resettlement Department, Richard Quion of the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Atty. Jess Salvador of the Engineering Office, Annie Nacianceno of the Community Development and Support Services Division, the Shapell Homeowners Association, and the Bacoor City Urban Federation Council.
