Kainan Sa Balsa began its journey on September 9, 1995, with just six bamboo rafts. Inspired by a vision of creating an extraordinary dining experience, Engr. and Mrs. Guinto wanted to recreate the warmth of a traditional family gathering in a small hut at the heart of their family’s fishpond in Cavite. The sight of a bountiful feast being prepared and served naturally drew attention from passersby. Dining on a floating bamboo raft evokes the serene ambiance of a countryside retreat by the lake. The restaurant offers a selection of authentic Filipino dishes, prepared and presented with a creative culinary flair.
