The City Government of Bacoor started the week by giving thanks to inspiring developments which occurred in the life of the city. Officials first awarded a plaque of recognition to Ronald Aquino, a student from Young Sheperd School who now studies at Manila Science High School, for winning three international correspondence competitions for the school year 2017 to 2018. Cheques for the Special Program for Employment of Students were also distributed by PESO and DOLE. The City Government was likewise proud to present the awards it had recently earned including the Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance 2017 received by the City Social Welfare and Development Office and the Gawad Kalasag received by the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. City officials also took the opportunity to give a tribute to Dr. Ruth Fuentes of the Department of Education, who will be moving on to a new post.
