The Office of Civil Defense (OCD), in partnership with the City Government of Bacoor, distributed family packs to fire victims from Barangays Habay 1, Niog, and Talaba 1 on June 1, 2026, at the Bacoor City Hall Lobby.
The initiative was facilitated through the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla and the Bacoor City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO) headed by Mr. Richard Quion, providing much-needed assistance to families affected by recent fire incidents.
Present during the distribution were RD Carlos Eduardo Ermita Alvarez III of OCD Region IV-A, Councilor Karen Sarino Evaristo, Kap. Alma Camarce of Barangay Niog, OCD personnel, CSWD staff, and BDRRMO personnel, all working together to ensure the successful delivery of assistance.
The family packs contained essential items including hygiene kits, sleeping kits, and kitchenware to help affected families begin their recovery and rebuild their daily lives.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed his gratitude to the Office of Civil Defense for its continued partnership and support, while RD Alvarez reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to providing assistance to communities in need throughout the region.
Through strong collaboration and compassionate service, Bacoor continues to stand with families during times of hardship and recovery. 💙
