December 9, 2025 – The City Government of Bacoor brought holiday joy to residents of several local shelters today, including the Strike Halfway House (Brgy. Molino 2), the Girls Home (Brgy. Bayanan), the Shelter for Boys, and the Strike Home Care for the Elders (Ciudad Malasakit, Brgy. Dulong Bayan). The initiative was spearheaded by the City Information and Community Relations Department (CICRD), under the leadership of Ms. Kristine Evangelista.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla was joined by a host of city officials, including Councilors Simplicio Dominguez, Karen Sarino Evaristo, Levy Tela and Noly Galvez, LNB Vice President Randy Francisco, JSInsp Sally C. Buguis (Warden, BJMP Female Dormitory), Kap Mike Saquitan of Barangay Molino 2, and Kap Alfie Gawaran of Barangay Bayanan, to distribute the gifts. Personnel from CICRD, CSWD (City Social Welfare and Development), and BJMP (Bureau of Jail Management and Penology) also participated.
A total of 80 grocery bags were distributed across the four locations, filled with essential items like canned goods, biscuits, instant noodles, rice, milk, diapers, and clothing. These donations were made possible through the highly successful STRIKE TV Concert Project, “Serbisyo at Musika One Beat for a Cause,” which has become a vital source of support for local shelters under the care of CICRD. The concert project exemplifies the power of music to unite the community and provide resources to those most in need, bringing the City Government’s vision of compassionate care to life.
