Strike Conference Hall, November 7, 2025 – In anticipation of the approaching Tropical Storm “Uwan,” the City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, convened an emergency meeting with all 47 Liga ng Barangay members. The meeting was organized by the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO).
Present at the meeting were Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Mr. Richard Quion, head of BDRRMO, and the 47 Liga ng Barangay Members led by LnB Vice President Randy Francisco.
The purpose of the meeting was to prepare for the arrival of Tropical Storm “Uwan,” with the following agenda items:
– Convene Barangay DRRM Committee
– Promote massive information drive to the community within respective Areas of Responsibility (AORs)
– Continuous monitoring of weather updates/advisories from DOST-PAGASA
– Activation of Barangay Rescue Teams (BRTs) and Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) and close coordination with the City Government EOC
This proactive measure underscores the city’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its constituents in the face of potential natural disasters. The City Government urges all residents to stay safe and take necessary precautions as Tropical Storm “Uwan” approaches.
