Strike Conference Room, September 2, 2025 – Mayor Strike Revilla met with JAIRAPEL International Corporation representatives today to discuss the progress of their city-wide initiative to clear dead, dangling, and “spaghetti” wires. The meeting, organized by the Office of the Mayor, included Mr. Lodgene Asuncion (E-Gov/MIS Head) and Ms. Kim Nyca Lofranco (City Legal Services Head).
JAIRAPEL reported significant progress, having recovered an estimated 30 tons of fiber optics, 800kg of copper cable, and 2kg of stainless steel. Discussions centered on optimizing the wire clearing process for faster and more efficient results.
Mayor Strike thanked JAIRAPEL for their dedication and reaffirmed the City Government’s commitment to creating a safer, more visually appealing environment for all residents through this important initiative.
