June 10, 2026 – An Earthquake Preparedness and Disaster Control Group Workshop was conducted yesterday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN, at St. Francis of Assisi College. The activity was organized for Grade 11 STEM students as part of the city’s disaster resilience program.
The workshop was led by representatives from the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO) including Mr. Ezer Carillo and Mr. Enrique M. Nalzaro III. The program is an initiative of the City Government of Bacoor headed by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, through BDRRMO under the leadership of Mr. Richard Quion.
During the session, students were trained on earthquake safety protocols, disaster response procedures, and how to effectively manage emergency situations. The activity aims to equip the youth with essential knowledge and skills to protect themselves and their communities during natural disasters, reinforcing the city’s commitment to building a disaster-resilient Bacoor.
