June 9, 2026 — The City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, officially launched the STRIKE Program and the “Bida ang Kalusugan Caravan” at the Sineguelasan Covered Court in Barangay Sinbanali.
The initiative was organized through the Office of the City Health Services (OCHS), headed by Dra. Ivy Marie Yrastorza, and was attended by Congresswoman Lani M. Revilla, Barangay Captain Caridad Sanchez and members of the barangay council, OCHS personnel, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and residents from various communities.
STRIKE, which stands for Serbisyong Tapat at Rumeresponde para sa Inklusibong Kalusugan at Edukasyon, is a community-based program designed to bring essential health and educational services directly to the people. Through the “Bida ang Kalusugan Caravan,” residents are provided access to free medical consultations, health screenings, check-ups, medicines, and health education programs within their own communities.
The initiative aims to make government services more accessible, especially for residents who may face challenges in traveling to healthcare facilities or government offices. By bringing these services closer to the people, the city government seeks to promote preventive healthcare, improve public health awareness, and ensure that quality services are available to all sectors of society.
Open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, the program embodies the principles of inclusivity and community-centered governance through its guiding motto, “Bida ang Kalusugan.” The caravan reflects the City Government’s continuing commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its residents and fostering healthier communities throughout Bacoor.
The launch also reinforces the city’s promise of “At Home Ka Dito,” highlighting a governance approach that is responsive, compassionate, and dedicated to meeting the needs of every Bacooreño.
Through initiatives such as the STRIKE Program and the “Bida ang Kalusugan Caravan,” the City Government of Bacoor continues to strengthen its efforts in delivering accessible healthcare services and promoting a culture of wellness, education, and inclusive development.
