The City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike Revilla, met with representatives of SPX Express on February 10, 2026 at the SBR Conference Room to discuss and strengthen risk management strategies for their ongoing construction project.
Present at the meeting were City Administrator Atty. Aimee Neri, City Legal Atty. Kim Nyca Lofranco, BDRRMO Head Mr. Richard Quion, CPDC Head Ms. Rhowena Alcantara, and Maureen Rivera from the City Engineering Office. Representing SPX Express were Martin Yu, Tiffany Mason, Paul Albid, and Ivan Deinla, with Julius Umali from DCCD Engineering also in attendance.
The discussion focused on mitigating potential risks, especially during inclement weather. Key agreements include:
✅ Storm-Aware Scheduling – Critical work will be planned outside peak rainy periods, with close coordination during typhoon season.
✅ Temporary Safety Measures – Installation of temporary drains and barriers, real-time monitoring, and rapid response protocols.
✅ City Liaison – Appointment of a dedicated SPX Express liaison for coordination on storm warnings and emergency preparedness.
✅ Continuous Monitoring – Independent inspections by DCCD Engineering to ensure compliance and quality.
This proactive collaboration highlights the shared commitment of LGU Bacoor and SPX Express to public safety, project efficiency, and minimizing community disruption. ✨
