Bacoor City, August 13, 2025 — The City Government of Bacoor, in partnership with the Offices of Senator Allan Peter Cayetano and Senator Pia Cayetano, successfully held the awarding ceremony of the Seed Capital Fund under the “Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA)” at Revilla Hall. The event aims to empower local beneficiaries and promote economic growth through sustainable livelihood projects.
Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola, Councilor Udoy Brillantes, Mr. Cotcot Añonuevo representing Senator Allan Peter Cayetano, and Mr. Ernest Nacion representing Senator Pia Cayetano graced the event. A total of 93 Bacooreños participated in the ceremony, receiving support to jumpstart their livelihood initiatives.
The beneficiaries included various SLPA groups such as SFI SLPA, Courtnay Queens Row West Pantawid SLPA, Persons with Disability (PWD), Nagkakaisang Pantawid ng Bacoor SLPA, and Molino 3 Pantawid SLPA. The Seed Capital Fund was made possible through the generous funding of Senators Allan Peter and Pia Cayetano, with additional support from the City Government of Bacoor and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Mayor Strike B. Revilla expressed gratitude to the senators and partners for their continued commitment to uplifting the lives of Bacoor residents through sustainable livelihood opportunities.
