Mayor Strike Revilla welcomed representatives from the European Union (EU), the EU-Philippine Green Economy Programme (EU-PH GEP), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) during a courtesy call held on February 4, 2026, at the Strike Conference Room.
The meeting, organized by the City Government of Bacoor, was attended by Ms. Memviluz Baurile (DILG Bacoor), Arch. Julius Padua, Ms. Patricia Mae Dela Cruz (EU-PH GEP), UNDP representatives, and other key city officials.
The discussion focused on the EU-PH Green Economy Partnership, a joint initiative of the European Union and the Philippine Government that aims to promote a sustainable, climate-smart, and resource-efficient economy. A major component of this program is the development of Green Local Government Units (LGUs), implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
This engagement highlights Bacoor’s strong commitment to environmental protection, sustainable development, and global cooperation, as the city continues to explore innovative solutions for a greener future.
