A Disaster Preparedness Orientation was held today at the Legislative and Disaster Resilience Building as a key requirement for the renewal of Mayor’s Permit to Work, in compliance with City Ordinance No. 248‑2022.
The orientation covered essential disaster readiness protocols and included hands‑on First Aid training — teaching participants how to respond to common injuries, medical emergencies, and provide immediate care before help arrives. This ensures that every workplace in Bacoor is equipped, aware, and ready to respond effectively during emergencies — contributing to a safer and more resilient community for all.
This program is a project of the City Government of Bacoor, under the leadership of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, and implemented through the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO), led by Mr. Richard Quion.
The city continues to strengthen disaster governance and compliance, emphasizing that safety is everyone’s responsibility. Businesses and residents are reminded that preparedness — including First Aid knowledge — remains the best defense toward a progressive and disaster‑resilient Bacoor.
