The Department of Education – Bacoor successfully hosted the Flag Raising Ceremony on June 1, 2026, at the S.T.R.I.K.E. Gymnasium, bringing together government officials, education leaders, students, and community stakeholders in a meaningful celebration of unity, excellence, and public service.
The program opened with a prayer led by Bishop Erickson Santos, followed by the Entrance of Colors by PNP Bacoor personnel. The Philippine National Anthem was performed by the Bacoor Unity Band. Mr. Jimmy Narcise led the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, Ms. Raquel I. Blones led the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan, Mr. Tyron C. Taylo led the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas, and Mr. Remo Angelo D. Ang presented the Quality Policy Statement.
Hon. Manolo S. Galvez, City Councilor of Bacoor District 1, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the strong partnership between the local government and the education sector in advancing quality education for every Bacooreño.
The ceremony also recognized Latin Honors graduates, board and bar passers, and Outstanding Bacoorreños. Special recognitions were awarded to Mayor Strike B. Revilla and PESO Bacoor by the Department of Migrant Workers Region IV-A, while the Cavite Dental Association presented a Plaque of Appreciation to Mayor Revilla. PNP Bacoor, under the leadership of PLTCOL Alexie A. Desamito, Chief of Police, likewise showcased citations and medals, including the Medalya ng Kagalingan.
A highlight of the event was the SJPS Re-commitment Ceremony and Manifesto Signing, reaffirming the commitment of participants to public service and nation-building. PLtCol Alexie A. Desamito introduced the distinguished guests, including PGEN Ernest John C. Jadloc, Commander of the 202nd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Philippine Army, represented by LtCol Ronnel S. Panganiban.
An audio-visual presentation showcased the accomplishments of DepEd Bacoor under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid. Dr. Alexander M. Morron Jr. delivered the message of the guest speaker, inspiring GPTA officers and SDO personnel to continue supporting educational excellence and student success.
The program concluded with a special message and weekly accomplishment report from Mayor Strike B. Revilla, highlighting the city government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen education, public service, and community development in Bacoor.
