July 6, 2026 – The Office of the City Health Services, together with the Barangay Health Workers (BHW), hosted the City Government of Bacoor’s weekly Flag Raising Ceremony at the S.T.R.I.K.E. Gymnasium.
The program opened with an invocation led by Bishop Erickson Santos, followed by the entrance of colors by BFP Bacoor Personnel and the rendition of the Philippine National Anthem by the Bacoor Unity Band.
The ceremony continued with the recitation of the official pledges:
Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas led by Dr. Jonamine Fadrilan
Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan led by Dr. Juan Carlo Miguel Titular
⭐ Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas led by Dr. Gemjho Sanchez
Dr. Nell Aviar presented the City’s Quality Policy Statement, followed by the audio-visual presentations of the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, Cavite Hymn, and Bacoor Hymn.
Opening remarks were delivered by City Councilor Reynaldo Palabrica of the 2nd District.
The ceremony also featured several recognition and public service activities, including:
Recognition of Latin honor recipients, professional board passers, and special awardees
Distribution of free dentures through the City Health Office’s oral healthcare program
Raffle draw for June 2026 birthday celebrants
Presentation of the accomplishments of the Office of the City Health Services, headed by Dra. Ivy Marie Yrastorza
Serving as the guest speaker was Dr. Voltaire Guadalupe , DOH Regional Director of DOH Region IV-A CALABARZON, who shared valuable insights on public health and the importance of quality healthcare services.
Members of the Office of the City Health Services also entertained attendees with an intermission performance.
The program concluded with a special message and the city’s weekly accomplishment report delivered by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, followed by the distribution of birthday cash gifts to Barangay Kagawads, Barangay Secretaries, Barangay Treasurers, and SK Chairmen celebrating their birthdays.
Through continued recognition of excellence and expanded healthcare initiatives, the City Government of Bacoor remains committed to promoting the health, welfare, and well-being of every Bacooreño.
