The City Accounting and Internal Audit Services Office, together with the Association of Barangay Treasurers, successfully hosted a meaningful Flag Raising Ceremony at the Bacoor City Hall Lobby on January 26, 2026. The event highlighted patriotism, unity, and recognition of outstanding service to the community.
The program opened with an invocation led by Pastor Sam C. Baldon of the Bacoor City Transformation Office, followed by the Entrance of Colors by PNP Bacoor Personnel. The Bacoor Unity Band led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, alongside the recitation of various pledges and commitments. Adding pride and inspiration to the ceremony, the Harmonic Chorale of Cavite State University–Bacoor Campus performed the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, Cavite Hymn, and Bacoor Hymn through an engaging AVP.
Hon. Reynaldo Palabrica, City Councilor of District 2, delivered the opening remarks, while Ms. Felicia Aldana of Barangay Poblacion was formally presented as Miss Universe Philippines Bacoor City.
🏆 A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of excellence and service, including:
• Awarding of Certificates and incentives to Latin Honor Awardees and Board Passers
• Recognition of Outstanding Bacooreños
• Awarding of certificates by PNP Bacoor to Barangay Mambog 2 as a Drug Cleared Barangay, represented by Brgy. Capt. Rogelio Javier
• Awarding of Certificates of Accreditation to NGOs
• Distribution of DOLE & PESO Welding Packages to qualified Kasambahays
📖 In line with the celebration of National Bible Month 2026, the City of Bacoor Ministries Inc. presented ceremonial Bibles to Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola, and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
The program continued with an AVP presentation of the City Accounting Office accomplishments by Atty. Marvie Kate Encarnado, followed by an insightful message from the guest speaker, Mr. Mark Schundel L. Reymondo, Supervising Officer of COA–Cavite. An intermission number by CAO & ABT added warmth to the celebration before Mayor Strike B. Revilla delivered his special message and weekly accomplishment report.
