Office of the Mayor, December 5, 2025 – Mayor Strike Revilla warmly received the Karate Team from Bacoor National High School (BNHS) San Nicolas 3 today, celebrating their impressive achievements at the 21st Philippine Karate Do Traditional Sports (PKTS) competition held last November 16, 2025, in Metro East Pasig.
The team, led by Chief Instructor Rodrigo T. Paycana and Head Coach Ms. Joanna Marie B. Rano, presented their medal winnings to the Mayor. The winning students include:
– Ms. Aikah Andrea Y. Cordero – Gold, Silver, Bronze medals (14-15 years old Karate Competition)
– Ms. Giahnecol O. Cubico – Gold (Team Kumite 18 above), Bronze (16-17 years old medals Karate Competition Team Kumite)
– Mr. Karl Chester D. Fabon – Silver medal (Karate Competition Newbie Kumite)
– Ms. Maying Roche – Gold medal (18 above Team Kumite), Silver medal (+68 Kumite)
– Ms. Stella Marie Rvraon – Gold medal (Newbie Kumite 14-15 years old), Silver medal (Kata 14-15 years old Newbie Kata)
– Mr. Rodrigo T. Paycana (Chief Instructor) – Gold medal (60 years old above Master Kata)
– Ms. Joanna Marie B. Rano (Head Coach) – Gold medal (Team Kumite 18 above), Silver medal (-68 18 above Female)
The team also announced their participation in the upcoming 9th JKH Open Karatedo Championship in Mainsquare Mall on December 14, 2025.
Mayor Strike Revilla congratulated the team on their achievements and reminded them to prioritize their studies, encouraging them to pursue their education up to college.
