June 10, 2026 — The Bahay Bulilit Learning Center in Barangay Mambog IV officially reopened for the new school year through the collaborative efforts of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Philippines and the Megawide Foundation, reaffirming their commitment to providing accessible early childhood education for young learners in the community.
The reopening ceremony was held at the center’s facility beside the Barangay Mambog IV Hall and was attended by local government officials, community leaders, and representatives from partner organizations.
Leading the local government’s participation was Mayor Strike B. Revilla, joined by former City Councilor Guding Nolasco and Barangay Mambog IV Chairman Robert Nolasco. Representatives from RMHC Philippines and McDonald’s Philippines were also present, including Kenneth Yang, President and Chief Executive Officer of McDonald’s Philippines and President of RMHC Philippines, and Cindy Yang, Board Member of RMHC Philippines.
Representing the Megawide Foundation and Megawide Construction were Teresa Saavedra, Jules Ronquillo, Assistant Vice President for Operations, and Atty. Carmela Castro, Executive Director. Members of the McDonald’s team likewise participated in the reopening activities and engaged with the young learners and their families.
The newly refurbished Bahay Bulilit Learning Center offers a child-friendly environment designed to support the educational and developmental needs of children from low-income families. The facility provides free early childhood education, nutritious daily meals, and a safe and nurturing space where young learners can grow and thrive.
The center implements a play-based learning approach that encourages the development of social, cognitive, emotional, and life skills essential for a child’s holistic growth and future success. By providing children with a strong educational foundation during their formative years, the program helps prepare them for continued learning and achievement.
The reopening of the learning center highlights the importance of collaboration between government agencies, private organizations, and community partners in expanding opportunities for children and families. It also reflects a shared commitment to promoting quality education, child welfare, and inclusive community development.
Through initiatives such as the Bahay Bulilit Learning Center, Bacoor continues to invest in the future of its youth, ensuring that more children have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
