Bacoor Private School Teachers honored at the celebration of Teacher’s Day

Main Square Mall – October 7, 2025 – The Bacoor City Organization of Private Schools, Inc. (BCOPSI) held a special Teacher’s Day celebration yesterday to honor and recognize the contributions of private school teachers. The event brought together approximately 400 educators and was graced by the presence of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Lion Sol Wilfredo C. Flores Jr., District Governor, Mr. Ruther Esconde, and BCOPSI officers.

The celebration was made even more significant through the strong support of Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Ms. Chaye Cabal-Revilla, and the City Government of Bacoor, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to education and the well-being of teachers. Mayor Revilla, as a special guest, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the dedication of private school teachers and their vital role in shaping the future generation of Bacoor.

During his address, Mayor Strike highlighted his and his wife’s deep value for teachers, noting Ms. Cabal-Revilla’s role as a founder of Gabay Guro, an organization dedicated to supporting educators. He emphasized the profound impact teachers have, stating, “We would not be where we are today without you. There would be no professionals without teachers,” and recognized them as the second parents of the city’s children. Mayor Strike’s presence and words underscored the City Government’s dedication to fostering a strong educational environment.

The event also received generous sponsorship from Lions Club District 301-A2 Philippines. The Cavite Magiting Lions Club served as the sponsoring club, with co-sponsorship from the Jasmarinas 100% HJF Lions Club and the Ayala Amity Centennial Lions Club.

The Teacher’s Day celebration served as a meaningful tribute to the educators who dedicate their lives to shaping the minds of the future, with the strong support of Mayor Strike B. Revilla and the City Government of Bacoor playing a central role in making the event a success.
