Mayor Strike Revilla welcomed representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC), and BPI Foundation during a courtesy visit on February 10, 2026 at the Office of the Mayor, marking the start of a strong collaboration to support small and nano-entrepreneurs in Bacoor.
This initiative is led by the City Government of Bacoor through the City Livelihood and Development Department headed by Ms. Carmelita Gawaran.
Present during the meeting were:
DTI – Lilibeth R. Chavez (OIC Provincial Director), Julie Salvacion (OIC Division Chief – Business Development Division)
PTTC – Mr. Prax Carpio (OIC Deputy Director), Ms. Maricris Cura Pango (OIC Division Chief – Training Division)
BPI Foundation – Mr. Matt Peter Domingo (Business Manager – BPI Imus Branch), Ms. Malou Atienza (Business Manager – BanKo Bacoor Branch)
The partnership will focus on the S.E.A.L. >> B.E.G.I.N. Initiative, which aims to strengthen small and nano-enterprises through business education, capacity building, and acceleration programs.
Through this collaboration with DTI’s Global MSME Academy and BPI Foundation, local entrepreneurs will gain access to practical, industry-relevant training, essential business skills, and valuable resources to help their enterprises grow and thrive.
