June 30, 2026 – The City Government of Bacoor met with representatives of ASM Global on June 29, 2026, at the Strike Conference Room to explore innovative solutions aimed at reducing single-use plastic waste, reinforcing the city’s commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible waste management.
Leading the city’s delegation were Mayor Strike B. Revilla, CESD Head Mr. Rolando Vocalan, and personnel from the City Environment and Sanitation Department (CESD).
Representing Consulere ASM Global LLP were Founder and COO Mr. Amrendra Kumar and Founder Ms. Surbhi Jore.
The discussion centered on a Circular Economy Initiative known as the Waste Diversion Refilling System, a program designed to reduce plastic waste by allowing residents to refill household liquid products at designated refill stations rather than purchasing new plastic containers.
The ASM Global team shared experiences and best practices from successful implementations in other communities, highlighting the environmental and social benefits of adopting refill and reuse systems.
As part of the initiative, plans are underway to launch a pilot program in selected barangays, which may later be expanded throughout the city following evaluation and assessment.
During the meeting, Mayor Strike B. Revilla emphasized the importance of partnerships and innovative solutions in achieving a cleaner, greener, and more resilient Bacoor for future generations.
🌱♻️ Together, through collaboration and sustainable practices, Bacoor continues to move toward a more environmentally responsible future.
