The City Government of Bacoor, through the Bacoor City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO) led by Mr. Richard Quion, successfully conducted a flood simulation exercise at Aniban Elementary School on May 27, 2026.
Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Coun. Noly Galvez joined barangay captains, barangay officials, volunteers, and residents from flood-prone communities in Barangays Ligas 1, Niog, Zapote 1 and 2 to strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response coordination. 💙
The simultaneous simulation exercise was designed to help residents experience and better understand what happens during emergencies such as floods and fires. It also aimed to test the city’s disaster response protocols, improve coordination among responders and communities, and ensure that residents know the proper safety procedures during disasters.
Recognizing the importance of community participation, relief packs were distributed to all attendees as a token of appreciation for their cooperation and commitment to disaster preparedness. 🙌
Through initiatives like this, the City Government of Bacoor continues to prioritize the safety, readiness, and resilience of every Bacooreño.
