Bacoor City, July 11, 2025 — The City Government of Bacoor, through the Office of the Population and Development, in partnership with the Office of the City Health Services, FriendlyCare Foundation Inc., and the Commission on Population and Development – CALABARZON, successfully conducted a Family Planning Outreach Mission focused on the Progestin-Only Sub-dermal Implant (PSI).
Targeting Women of Reproductive Age (WRA), the mission aimed to raise awareness and encourage the adoption of modern family planning methods, specifically the PSI. The program educated participants on the benefits and effectiveness of the implant, empowering women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
Held in observance of World Population Day, the outreach mission garnered positive response, with many women opting to receive the Progestin-Only Sub-dermal Implant, marking a significant step toward improved family planning and reproductive health in the community.
