Two major regional Gawad Kalasag awards were given to the City of Bacoor. Bacoor was conferred as Regional Winner for the Best City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (Component City Category) and as Regional Finalist for the Best Local Government Emergency Management and Response Team Category. The awards were given by the Office of Civil Defense CALABARZON and were received by Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla and BDRRMO Head Richard Quion, accompanied by the rest of the members of the City DRRM Council.
