At this morning’s flag raising ceremony, the City Government of Bacoor was proud to present the Seal of Good Local Governance that it received from the Department of the Interior and Local Government. This is the fourth time that the City of Bacoor was bestowed this recognition. The City of Bacoor is also the only city in the province of Cavite to receive this prestigious distinction, a testament to the high standard of public service that it adheres to.
Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla says, “Ang karangalang ito ay para sa ating lahat dahil ito ay bunga ng pagkilos hindi lang ng iilan kungdi nating lahat na nagkakaisa para maipagpatuloy at maitaguyod ang asenso at pagbabago ng ating pinakamamahal na lungsod.”
In celebration of the 26th National Children’s Month, the children of Girls Home and Shelter for Boys gave an interpretative dance number.
On the same occasion, the City Government of Bacoor distributed financial assistance to fire victims and awarded seed capital fund for the Sustainable Livelihood Program.
